Chestnut Hill College To Offer Graduate Courses For Autism Caregivers
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – A local college is offering classes this fall for those who help adults on the autism spectrum.
The graduate level courses at Chesnut Hill College are unique according to the program coordinator Rosemary Mullaly, but she says the need to understand adults with autism is great.
A recent state census shows that by 2014 there will be more than 10,000 and adults living with autism in Pennsylvania. The classes will help people working in the community.
